British Fashion Designer Alexander McQueen Found Dead

Acclaimed British fashion designer Alexander McQueen was found dead in his home in London. He was 40 years old.  Much loved by the fashion world for his over-the-top productions, McQueen loved pushing the fashion envelope with avant-garde designs. Sarah Jessica Parker, Rhianna and Lady Gaga were among the famous A-listers dressed by the talented designer. Among his famous pieces are the shoes Lady Gaga donned on her “Bad Romance” music video.

McQueen’s death comes at the heels of his mother’s passing last February 2.

The official cause of death has not yet been released by police but reports speculate that he died of an apparent suicide. At this time his family requests the media to respect their privacy as they come to terms with the sudden loss of Alexander McQueen.
