The 56 year old Chinese and Hollywood actor Jackie Chan rumored to have died and the hoax is making a lot of noise on social networking sites.
“RIP Jackie Chan” soon became a trend on twitter as some internet-hooligan-pranksters began to declare the hoax.
A statement on Jackie Chan’s facebook fan page was soon posted stating that “Jackie is alive and well. He did not suffer a heart attack and die, as was reported on many social networking sites and in online news reports.”
It also added that “Jackie is fine and is busy preparing for the filming of his next movie.”
The Hollywood actor also posted his recent pictures on his official website www.jackiechan.com showing himself meeting Yuji Kumamaru, Consul-General of Japan in Hong Kong to discuss the details about an incoming event which will benefit the victims of earthquake and tsunami in Japan.
