Man charged after alleged homophobic attack on Drag Race star The Vivienne | UK News



A man has been charged after RuPaul’s Drag Race star The Vivienne reported a homophobic attack earlier this year.

The incident took place at a McDonald’s on Edge Lane in Liverpool on 16 June, according to Merseyside Police.

The force said the victim was approached by a man who made homophobic comments before punching him in the face.

Alan Whitfield, 50, of Everton, has now been charged with assault by beating.

He will appear at Liverpool Magistrates Court on 5 September, police…
